WARDROBE ESSENTIALS, Part 1
It’s the quality that counts and no more so than when planning the essentials for a stylish wardrobe. We asked our cutters and customers for their thoughts and here’s the first instalment…
Not that we’re biased but you cannot beat a smart suit and it can be worn for all manner of occasions, both business and social.
Front of house Matthew Cowley says, ”When choosing the classic cloths for our 150th ‘Anniversary Collection’ we decided upon a navy herringbone and plain grey pick & pick, ideal for those choosing their first bespoke suit, but we can make anything you wish. An exquisite one-off bespoke suit, cut on Savile Row and created using the finest cloths available.”
Elegant tailoring merits well laundered, well fitted shirts and it’s a good idea to order bespoke shirts when selecting your latest suit. However, if you prefer ready to wear shirts, our new selection is elegant and timeless, with plenty of choice in double or button cuff.
Single breasted blazers are easier to wear and look less like a uniform and along with a carefully chosen tweed sports coat, can be worn casually with jeans, cotton chinos or smart trousers. Dress them up with tie and slacks or down with open neck shirt & jeans/cords.
