Savile Row Bespoke

Latest News

July 2015

Back in 2010, on a gloriously sunny afternoon on Savile Row in central London, two flocks comprising sixty sheep grazed on natural pasture, tended by their shepherd ‘Ben’, his two well trained sheepdogs and an extremely stylishly dressed farmer by the name of Harry Parker.

It was the official launch of The Campaign for Wool’s first ever ‘Wool Week’, which aims to promote wool as a precious natural, renewable and biodegradable resource that offers many technical and ecological benefits. Himself a committed environmentalist, HRH The Prince of Wales is the Global Patron of The Campaign for Wool.

Having sheep on Savile Row was a fantastic opportunity to illustrate the high quality of this wonderful natural product and the wool industry’s high level environmental credentials and they are due to return on Monday 5th October 2015.

If you would like to join us in Savile Row on Monday 5th October 2015, please contact cass.stainton@dege-skinner.co.uk to request an invitation for this special, extraordinary and somewhat unusual daytime event.
