Concours On Savile Row With Morgan Motor Company

Dege & Skinner will team up with Morgan Motor Company for this Summer’s inaugural ‘Concours on Savile Row’. A two-day event created to showcase the craftsmanship and bespoke skills of Savile Row’s world-renowned tailors and the automotive world.

Super 3

Taking place on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th June 2022, we'll be hosting an Open House for members of the public at Number 10 Savile Row to highlight our 157-year-old company’s tailoring expertise, alongside the unique craftsmanship of Morgan Motor Company who will be showcasing the all-new Super 3.

Savile Row tailors have a historic relationship with the automotive industry, from driving suits, to driving jackets and even car interiors.

The splendid new Super 3 on display during Concours on Savile Row will feature customised interior door panels created by us using a special British racing green wool mesh cloth. This same cloth will also be used to create a single-breasted coat with ‘curved’ patch pockets for Morgan Motor Company’s Head of Design Jonathan Wells and also for Dave Burt, himself an owner of a Morgan Plus Six, who is CEO & Founder of @LONDON and the man behind Instagram’s @MRLONDON.

Bespoke Craftsmanship

What propels this relationship are the attributes that the collector car world and bespoke tailoring share: craftsmanship, beautiful design, high quality materials, attention to detail, and very discerning customers.

Bespoke Morgan

Morgan’s unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology ensures it stands alone within the industry.

Similar to our own bespoke tailoring, which is all cut and made here at Number 10, each Morgan sports car is truly bespoke, with a specification process that draws comparisons to that of having a bespoke suit made for you on Savile Row.

Morgan Works London

Morgan’s flagship London dealership, Morgan Works London, will be supporting the collaboration with two vehicles.

World Class Cars

With Savile Row closed to all traffic for the duration of the two-day event, members of the public will be able to stroll down The Row where 40 or so extraordinary cars, including the new Morgan Super 3, will be on display.

There will also be live talks about the automotive industry, sustainability in both tailoring and car manufacture, as well as live music and VIP hospitality.

Entry will be free to all visitors from 10am to 6pm each day. Cars on display will range from pre-war thoroughbreds to the latest electric hypercars.

We’ll also be co-hosting an evening event with Morgan Motor Company for invited guests on Wednesday 15th June. Please look out for our customer newsletter for further details. You can sign-up to receive our newsletter at the bottom of our Home Page.
