With strict dress codes for attending ticket holders and with each specific enclosure having its own rules and regulations, careful preparation is key to enjoying this wonderful, annual racing spectacle.

It's too late for bespoke, so what are your options if you're not planning on wearing bespoke clothing?
All depends which enclosure your ticket is for, but here are some thoughts.
A smart navy blazer, with a crisply ironed shirt, neck tie and pocket square is a classic combination and ideal for the King Edward VII Enclosure & Hospitality.

A sky blue, or light blue, soft cotton shirt with white collar and cuffs will add a sense of personal style to any Ascot outfit.

It’s a little too soon to know what the ever-changing British weather might be doing for the duration of the race meeting.
Accessories
An umbrella might be required!

Trouser braces if you've got button top trousers rather than belted.
Possibly, to be topped off with a houndstooth silk neck tie.
