As we mark the occasion of our company’s 160th anniversary in 2025, we’re delighted to confirm that we’ve been Granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by His Majesty The King.
Royal Warrant

Announced by Buckingham Palace in December 2024, the grants were made to 386 companies drawn from those previously holding a single Royal Warrant of Appointment to Queen Elizabeth II, together with seven companies that have an established and ongoing trading relationship with HM Queen Camilla.
These grants follow 152 Royal Warrants granted by Their Majesties in May 2024, to companies drawn from those previously holding a Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty as Prince of Wales, who began granting Warrants in 1980.
Family
Managing Director William Skinner commented, “It’s a true honour to receive a Royal Warrant to His Majesty, King Charles III. We’ve been making military uniforms for the British Royal Family ever since being first Granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Elizabeth II in 1984 and continue to be immensely proud of the skills and expertise held within our hugely talented team based at 10 Savile Row.``

This year also happens to be our family-owned business’ 160th anniversary and our Chairman’s 90th year, so we have a lot to celebrate here at Number 10 Savile Row.
Sovereign Bodyguard
Granted in the category of 'Tailoring', the Royal Warrant relates specifically to the uniforms that we make for The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard. Dressed in their distinctive Tudor uniforms of red, white and yellow, The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard has a ceremonial role in many Royal events.

Yeoman of the Guard take part in the annual Royal Maundy Service; the State Opening of Parliament; the Epiphany Service in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace; all investitures and summer Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace; the installation of Knights of the Garter in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle; the investiture of The Prince of Wales; and at the coronations, lying-in-state, and funeral of the Sovereign.
Dege & Skinner was first Granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1984.
At that time, the Grantee was Michael Skinner, the current Chairman. His son, Managing Director William Skinner succeeded his father as Grantee of a Royal Warrant of Appointment in 2009.
