The Tweed Run!

Proud partner of Pashley Cycles during the recent Concours on Savile Row, we rode The Tweed Run!

On Saturday 18th April, a peloton of 1,000 or so tweed clad bicycle riders made their way down Savile Row as part of the annual visual spectacular that is ‘The Tweed Run’.

Phitwell Coat

With tweed being so popular amongst our domestic and internationally-based customers, we joined The Tweed Run this year with model and good friend ‘David Aisosa’ riding the 12 miles or so for us in a Phitwell coat on a Pashley Britannia, kindly loaned for the event by Pashley Cycles, who have been hand-crafting bicycles in Britain since 1926.

The Original

The first Tweed Run happened in 2009, when 300 tweed-clad cyclists gathered at the top of London’s renowned Savile Row on a chilly February morning.

Today, Tweed Runs are hosted around the globe, but the original event in London will always be the flagship event.

Excitement for The Tweed Run 2027 is building amongst our team of bespoke cutters and tailors based here at Number 10 Savile Row.

The Tweed Run is a small team of dedicated fans of cycling and tweed, owned and managed by Bourne & Hollingsworth Presents Ltd.
